Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge
The first cable-stayed bridge in Nigeria with a length of 1.36 km. It’s a fascinating architectural structure because of its fabulous look and strong significance. It reduces traffic gridlock on the Island and connects Ikoyi to Lekki. The bridge has a 9-meter gap above water level in order to allow for the flow of maritime movement. The bridge also serves as a recreational facility for residents of Ikoyi and Lekki.
The tallest building in Nigeria and West Africa, standing at 160 meters with 32 floors. Tafawa Balewa Square
A ceremonial ground with iconic, historical and nationalistic tales. The Tafawa Balewa Square was constructed in 1972 in a site which was used for Horse racing and Nigeria’s Independence celebration. Its entrance displays gigantic sculptures of four white horses just above the gate and seven red eagles, which are symbols from the national emblem.
