Farin Ruwa Falls
Falling at a height of 15o meters, Farin Ruwa falls presents itself as a graceful and beautiful fall. It’s regarded as one of the most captivating waterfalls in Nigeria. The waterfall is simply breathtaking. It offers a calm ambiance and a nice scenery. Farin Ruwa means “white water” in Hausa.
Numan Rocks and Hills
Numan hills offers a unique view that covers parts of Abuja and a major part of Nasarawa state. It is located at the outskirt of Andaha town, Nasarawa state. The hills have daunting peaks and a striking scenery. It’s most suitable for adventurers and tourists.
Hunki Ox bow Lake
Not many lakes host an annual fishing festival. Hunki Ox bow lake is one of those few. It is located about 130 kilometres from Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa state. The lake is like an Ox-bow, shaped in two arms with each of them measuring 7 kilometres long and 70 kilometres wide. The lake is situated in the Tunga district of Awe local government.
Eggon Hills and Caves
Eggon Hills is some 30 metres above sea level. It’s a good spot for tourists and adventurers. It is a spot that has attracted tourists for decades. It was a notable destination for some Europeans during the colonial era.
Doma dam is a man-made dam meant for agricultural irrigation. The dam is open for fishing and picnicking. The surrounding of the dam is hilly with thick and lush vegetation. It’s about 30 kilometres away from Lafia.
