Obudu Mountain Resort
This is one beautiful place located in Obudu, Cross River State. It has a spectacular and lovely landscape coupled with a large expanse of grassland, wide gorges, scenic valleys and exquisite waterfalls. Another important feature one must definitely see is the Gorilla Camp, where students can observe gorillas in their purest form and natural habitat. There’s also an installed cable car from the base to the top of the plateau that gives visitors an attractive view and an option of avoiding the difficult terrain the Obudu plateau offers.
Located in Anegeje Village, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State, is another lovely scenery nature has to offer. Kwa falls is an attractive and superb waterfall located in a narrow valley of the Kwa river. Kwa Falls is portrayed by a well aligned staircase of more than 200 steps and an amazing vegetation coupled with a calm environment and a cool climate.
Tinapa Resort is a business and leisure resort that is suitable for students due to its large variety of recreating and fun options. At Tinapa, you are given the chance of visiting retailing marts, a trade exhibition area and an entertainment belt that consists of a cinema, a casino, night club and pub. There’s also the opportunity of visiting the beach, a water park and many other places where one can have fun and do business.
The Giant Footprints of Ukhuse Oke
This lovely piece of nature that displays unique footprints of a giant is between two villages known as Ukhuse-oke and Ukhuseosi in Owan Local Government Area of Edo State. A mysterious site to behold that has been embedded permanently on flat granite rocks for centuries.
The River Ethiope
This is presumed to be the deepest inland waterway in Africa (at 176 km). Its source is at the foot of a silk cotton tree at Umuaja in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta state and flows through seven Local Government Areas. Lots of interesting activities take place there like sport fishing, canoeing, speed boating, and swimming.
