Matsirga Falls is about 227 kilometers south of Kaduna, the capital city of Kaduna State. This notable waterfalls take their source from flowing springs in the Kagoro Hills. The fresh water from the falls drops 30 meters into a deep gorge that is supported by a healthy number of charming and strong rocks. The water flowing from this captivating waterfall gushes from four different natural conduits. This is aided by a steep rock cliff, forming a large pool at the bottom of the cliff.
The Matsirga Falls has a natural rock shelter at the river bank that creates a shed and a relaxation spot for tourists, travelers and holiday makers. It is a suitable spot for picnics, hangouts and dates. The waterfalls offer a calm ambiance and a serene environment capable of giving a soothing relief to the body, soul and spirit.
