Men have become more daring and fashionable lately or since whenever. So dressing like a bum while travelling is inexcusable. Here are more than one travel tip for voyaging in style #men.
Travel Tip 1: Know a thing or two about your destination
The first step to being cool on a trip is doing adequate research. Know everything you need to know about your destination before the trip. Nobody wants to be seated next to the guy with a lot of questions. You might just be next to a beautiful damsel who knows nothing about your destination. That’s a perfect way to hit it off. She is comfortable with you, after all you have all the answers.
Travel Tip 2: Dress Comfortably
Comfort always comes before style, at least alphabetically. Firstly, you should endeavor to make room for yourself in your clothes. Let your clothes be fitted and comfortable. Definitely, you want some room in your trousers, a shirt that stays tucked or is worn un-tucked, and nothing that pinches or rubs. Even if the voyage is more than 24-hours, you will not be the guy to complain.
Travel Tip 3: Sharp guys dress nice
Take tip two to the next level. You qualify as candidate for the open seat in business class, when you dress nicely. In my opinion, it helps if you are the guy who looks like Idris Elba on the flight. Dressing to impress will signal to others a positive feeling through your presentation.
Travel Tip 4: Wear as little metal as possible
This saves you a lot of embarrassment especially when you have tips 1 – 3 on check. You will not like to be the guy causing the metal detector to beep several times. Infact you can pack metals in your hand bag and then put them on while waiting for my plane.
Travel Tip 5: Let your luggage stand-out
You can try to match your dressing with your luggage. Do not follow the crowd by carrying bags that are everywhere. If possible, carry bags that are difficult to find in any store. Once you get off the plane, you will easily identify your baggage this way and save some coolness.
Travel Tip 6: Hand luggage is easiest to track
Your luggage won’t be lost when you’re tracking it the entire trip! You avoid acting crazy. Also, this saves you from additional fees and when you land you can walk through customs and get to your destination sooner. Get out of the airport feeling like James Bond.
Travel Tip 7: Pack light
Knowing how long your trip will last is key. Pack minimal clothing that will be utilized optimally in one carry-on. Another cue is making sure everything you take is interchangeable with everything else you pack. Less clothing, more outfits, less bulk.
Travel Tip 8: Carry your sunglasses
Sunglasses will relive some flight anxieties. They will also allow you steal a nap comfortably on a trip unnoticed. You MUST carry sunglasses, they are necessary for voyaging in style.
Travel Tip 9: Breath fresheners or Gum
You will need to have your confidence top of the notch on a trip. Endeavour to brush twice daily, but when traveling it’s nice to know you’re not putting of the person next you with foul breath by having a few sticks of gum available.
Travel Tip 10: Use the right arm-rest
If you’re seated by the window or on an aisle, you are entitled to your one arm-rest. Give the individual in the center row two, as they have no other place to put their arms. Don’t attempt to struggle for the arm-rest during a flight. Be cool!
