The times we live in presents the urge to abscond into another world, a world of soothing relief, even if it’s just for a few hours, to shut off from coarse tension and feel the ecstasy of liberation. – ‘Folabomi
Looking for a tourist attraction that envelops adventure, fascination and a DE-stress session? The most spoken of Erin Ijesha water fall surely takes the cake!
Erin Ijesha waterfall (a.k.a Olumirin waterfall a.k.a The Natural Suana) is probably the most patronized tourist site in Nigeria today.
Located about 2km off Erin Ijesha town in Osun State, the water fall is a stunning assemblage of seven unique levels, with each level providing a whole new outlook when compared to the previous level. At first glance the seven levels of the waterfall might not look like such a big deal until the ascension begins and voilà it’s like opening exciting layers and coverings of the most enthralling parcel ever! Each level has its enchantingly revealing beauty and it is said that climbing the third level equals to trudging the snow-white sharp Mount Everest. The icing on the cake is the village on the 7th floor, that is if you dare to climb to the end.
There is a hidden message in every waterfall. It says, if you are flexible, falling will not hurt you!
